Terms of Service

Jara Capital provides a digital platform that enables users to save and invest through licensed third-party partners.

Jara Capital does not hold customer funds directly, provide custody services, or act as a bank or asset manager. Financial services, including wallets, investments, and settlements, are provided through regulated partners.

To use Jara Capital, you must meet all of the following requirements:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be a resident of Nigeria, unless otherwise supported.
• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Successfully complete identity verification (KYC).

When you create an account:

• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
• You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

To meet legal and regulatory requirements, you must complete identity verification through our third-party provider. This may include BVN or NIN verification, liveness checks, and address verification.

If you do not complete verification, access to features such as investing and withdrawals may be restricted.

Jara Capital integrates with licensed third-party providers to deliver financial services. Investment products, wallets, and transactions may be provided by those partners, and you may be subject to their additional terms.

We are not responsible for the performance or availability of third-party services. Your rights and obligations for a particular product may also be set out in that product’s terms.

You may fund your wallet by bank transfer to a virtual account provided for that purpose. Funds must come from an account you own or are authorized to use. Processing times can vary, and we are not responsible for delays caused by banks or external payment systems.

When you invest through the Platform, you authorize us to transmit your instructions to the relevant investment partner. Investments are subject to the underlying product’s terms. Returns are not guaranteed and may fluctuate.

You are responsible for understanding the risks associated with investing and for your investment decisions.

Withdrawals and redemptions are processed through our partners. Processing times vary by product; some products may have restrictions or lock-in periods. Regulatory or operational requirements can also cause delays.

Jara Capital may charge fees for certain services. Any fees we charge will be disclosed before you confirm a transaction. Third-party partners may also apply their own fees.

You agree not to use the Platform for fraudulent or illegal activities, provide false or misleading information, attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, or interfere with the operation or security of the Platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in such activities.

We handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

Using our services involves the collection and processing of your data and the sharing of necessary information with identity-verification and financial partners. Please read our Privacy Policy for details.

We use security measures intended to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and you are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

We aim to provide access to the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Platform may be unavailable for maintenance, system upgrades, or because of third-party outages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jara Capital is not liable for investment losses, delays or failures caused by third-party providers, or indirect or consequential damages.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, we are required to do so by law, or we detect suspicious or fraudulent activity.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you through the Platform or by email when appropriate. Where permitted by law, continuing to use the Platform after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
